• Check bibliographies and primary sources used in every book assigned for class (typically at the end of the book; check also footnotes).

• Maltby’s The Rise and Fall of the Spanish Empire (first book in our reading list) has a list of suggested readings at the end organized in broad topics

• Oxford Bibliographies database has a lot of academic topics with suggestions for primary and secondary sources. https://www.oxfordbibliographies.com/

• Search for The Mexico Reader, The Peru Reader, etc, for collections of primary sources on particular regions
